Railways in Namibia

Up to now it was almost impossible to find any in-depth information about current issues or the history of railroading in Namibia. This is why we have put some photographs online for you to enjoy.
For further details, the book "The First 100 Years of State Railways in Namibia" by Brenda Bravenboer and
Walter K.E. Rusch, 2nd Edition 1999, ISBN 0-86976-401-2, N$200, is highly recommended.
Can be purchased at the TransNamib Museum (PO Box 13204, Windhoek, Namibia, phone +264 61 298 2186)
or online at shops like the Namibiana Buchdepot.
